Equine Chiropractic
Chiropractic care is a manual therapy focused on restoring and maintaining the neuromusculoskeletal system. A certified animal chiropractor is trained to locate vertebral subluxation complexes and correct them using a chiropractic adjustment. A vertebral subluxation complex (VSC) is defined as the functional misalignment of a vertebrae or the limited mobility within the joint. If a VSC exists the animal loses the normal flexibility and range of motion of the spine, resulting in stiffness, muscular tension and pain.

- abnormal posture or stance
- change in behavior - ear pinning, tail swishing
- uneven gaits/subtle lameness
- shortened stride
- difficulty engaging hindquarters
- refusing jumps
